Trinidad & Tobago: Police to approach DPP over suspect in Gokool disappearance

Police are hopeful that over the weekend they will be able to approach the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Roger Gaspard SC for instructions on how to proceed against a 35-year-old man who is in custody for the disappearance of Analisa Gokool.

The suspect has been questioned, Loop News was told.

At the moment, police are currently awaiting the results of a post mortem of a body found on Monday morning in Warden Trace in Sangre Chiquito.

While they are still awaiting results for a DNA test, police believe they have confirmed the identity of the body due to the clothing it was found in, and identifying marks such as tattoos, on her arm.

The body of a woman was unearthed around 11 am on Monday, some 315 feet off Warden Trace in Sangre Chiquito.

It was buried an estimated 7.5 feet deep.
