Two senior citizens, reportedly between ages 80 and 90 years, were mercilessly killed in two separate incidents at their St Andrew-based homes on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as 82-year-old Doris Gordon of Ashoka Road in Waterhouse, and 90-year-old Clifton Williams of Sandy Lane in Drewsland, both in St Andrew.

In the first incident, the Hunt’s Bay police reported that at about 2:45 pm on Tuesday, a passer-by stumbled upon Gordon’s body and alerted them.

On their arrival, the elderly woman was seen lying on her back in a pool of blood in the yard. Her throat was slashed.

Meanwhile, Williams, who was last seen on Sunday, was found dead in his yard in Drewsland sometime on Tuesday, with what appeared to be a wound to the back of his head.
