The heats of the women’s 100m in Tokyo are scheduled for Thursday night Jamaica time, the same day that track and field begins. The first heat is set to start at 9:40 pm Jamaica time.
The semifinals will take place on Saturday Jamaica time at 5:15 am and the final later in the day at 7:50 am Jamaica time.
Jamaica will be represented by Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Elaine Thompson-Herah, and Shericka Jackson.
