San Juan police are investigating a report on the theft of pharmaceutical products which allegedly occurred on Saturday.
The victim told investigators that around 4.15 pm he secured his vehicle along the Eastern Main Road in the vicinity of Prescription House Pharmacy in San Juan, to conduct business.
Upon returning, he observed that the door to the driver’s side had been tampered with.
He made checks inside the vehicle and found pharmaceuticals products amounting to around $7,000 were missing from his vehicle.
A report was made to the police.
Earlier this month, an estimated $2.5 million in pharmaceutical products were stolen from the St James Medical Facility.
Among the products were 25 vials of tocilizumab, a drug recently approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) to treat critical COVID-19 patients.
