The Santokhi government has achieved a lot in one year, says Minister Albert Ramdin of Foreign Affairs, International Business and International Cooperation in conversation with Suriname Herald. President Chan Santokhi evaluated the past year in Accaribo with his governing team.
Ramdin says the evaluation also covered the various institutions and structures involved in government policy such as the president, vice president, ministers, as well as the National Assembly, the coalition and the top government.
“These structures will be evaluated on their functioning mainly to see how they can be governed more effectively. There has been an explicit evaluation of what was intended in the government program and what has been achieved after one year of the Santokhi government.”
