A28-year-old man was gunned down while taking a haircut in Morvant.  

The deceased has been identified as Dan Adams of Wharf Trace, Maracas, St Joseph.  

According to police reports, at about 2:10 pm, Adams was at ‘Cuts in Paradise Barber Shop’ near Building A, Paradise Heights, Morvant, when a man entered the wooden structure. 

There was an exchange of words following which Adams was shot in the head. 

The suspect then fled the scene on foot. 

The police and paramedics were notified, but Adams succumbed to his wounds.

He died while still seated on the barber’s chair.
