A17-year-old was among two people held with firearms yesterday. 

The find included an AR-15 rifle, as well as a Smith and Wesson semi-automatic pistol. 

Thirty-eight rounds of assorted ammunition were also found and seized. 

At about 2pm yesterday officers of the Western Division Task Force received intelligence which led them to Pioneer Drive, Petit Valley. 

There they had cause to search two persons, including the teenager and a 28-year-old man. 

The weapons and ammunition were found, seized and the two were arrested and taken to the West End Police Station.
