A group of employees at Electricity of Haiti (EDH) illegally hired people as security guards and paid them, the government agency said.
Those involved were fired, and they have since been attacking EDH employees at their headquarters in Péligre, EDH officials said in a statement Tuesday.
EDH didn’t mention how many employees were fired as a result of its investigation.
