Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Wrightson Road this afternoon. 

According to reports, four men were seated in a blue Hyundai Elantra at the lights near Powergen when another vehicle pulled up next to them. 

At least one occupant of the second vehicle pulled out a gun and began shooting at the Elantra. 

Luckily, only one man sustained injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening. He’s warded at the Port of Spain General Hospital.  

Other vehicles along the roadway also sustained damage.  

Police believe the incident was a targeted hit against one of the occupants in the vehicle as he had recently left the Four Roads Police Station.
