Suriname: Chief of Police: “Politics and the judiciary are to blame for decadence in KPS”

The deviant behavior in the Suriname Police Corps (KPS) is devoted to police chief Roberto Prade, among other things, for politics and the judiciary. This was Prade’s answer to a question from Suriname Herald during a press conference of the Ministry of Justice and Police.

“In some cases, people remain in some strange way through politics in the force, despite being guilty of a bad practice.” Prade noted that abroad, direct action is taken against someone from a force who goes wrong. “Unfortunately we are not that far in Suriname.”

Despite cases of certain police officers coming out through the judiciary, there is still an opportunity to be enforced. Furthermore, the police chief said that the corps is recruiting from a society in which there is also decadence. “You try to keep what is good as much as possible. Which corps in the world has no problems? ” he asked rhetorically.
