The University of the West Indies (UWI) St Augustine is taking sexual harassment claims against a member of its teaching staff seriously and will ensure that the matter is appropriately addressed.
In a brief statement, the UWI confirmed it’s aware of these allegations which also involve inappropriate use of University premises.
The UWI confirmed steps are being taken to treat with the matter.

The University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus, notes with deep concern serious allegations appearing on social media platforms against one of its teaching staff regarding sexual harassment, sexual assault, and inappropriate use of University premises. The Campus Administration wishes to assure the University community and our stakeholders that these allegations are being taken seriously and the matter is being appropriately addressed.
