A 31-year-old man is dead following a shooting in Arouca yesterday.
The deceased has been identified as Nicholas Mohit.
According to police reports, around 4.45 pm he was in the garage of his home when an unknown man ran into the yard armed with a firearm. The gunman pointed the weapon at Mohit and opened fire, then ran off.
