Bandits not only robbed a fast-food delivery driver of his cash, cellular phone, and valuables, but also the food he was expected to deliver.
The victim told police that around 10pm on Sunday, he was on Toussaint Lane, Tunapuna, completing his final delivery of an estimated $150 in food, when he was confronted by two men – both armed with firearms.
The men announced a hold-up and proceeded to rob the 35-year-old of all that he had on his person.
However, before they ordered him to drive away, they told the victim that he also had to hand over the delivery which ‘smelt great’.
The victim, fearful for his life, complied.
He immediately notified the police and a team of officers led by PC Smith responded.
