Haiti: Hospital To Transfer Patients Over Gang Activity

Health officials from a Doctors Without Borders hospital based in Drouillard, a commune four miles from Port-au-Prince, plan to transfer their 21 patients to another hospital because gang members regularly engage in skirmishes near the hospital.

They will move the patients to another hospital in Tabarre, a commune in Port-au-Prince, when it’s safe.

Last time gang members confronted each other near the hospital was on Tuesday.
