Haitian authorities have requested the support of the Dominican Republic to free two Dominicans who were kidnapped, Dominican Minister of Defense Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa said in a press conference Tuesday.
Maicol Enrique and Antonio Gerer Campusano Feliz were kidnapped from a vehicle on Saturday in Port-au-Prince, along with a Haitian person, Junior Augusma. Their vehicle was being escorted by police at the time of the kidnapping.
The Dominicans are two technicians part of a film crew, Muska Group, that was shooting a documentary about kidnapping. Augusma was their translator.
