A Long Island DJ captured smoking pot during last month’s Capitol Hill riot had a hazy grasp of what was going on during a Tuesday court proceeding into the charges he is facing.
Greg Rubenacker had difficulty following US Magistrate Judge Steven Locke’s instructions regarding his $50,000 bond hearing in Central Islip federal court.
Locke asked Rubenacker if he understood the terms of his release.
“My memory is not too good,” he said. “You’re saying a lot. I don’t know, I just need, I need to have like a physical copy.”
The Farmingdale resident allegedly documented the Jan. 6 siege on Snapchat, where he could be heard exclaiming, “Holy s—t! This is history! We took the Capitol!” according to the federal filing out of Washington, DC.
