The police continue to lose suspects and are no closer to finding 23-year-old Andrea Bharatt, who has been missing for close to a week now.
Attorney Fareed Ali provided new information to the investigation on Wednesday, February 3.
Seven people, including one woman, were held by police at various points of the investigation into Bharatt’s disappearance.
As of now, two have been released, one is dead and one is in the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital. Police say the man attempted to escape custody and had to be ‘subdued’.
Another man died after being ‘subdued’ twice by police while in custody. In a release, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service explained that Andrew Morris, 35, died at the Arima Hospital on Monday.
