Trinidad & Tobago: Hunters join police in search for kidnap victim Andrea Bharatt

While the nation waits and hopes, police officials, and even hunters, continue to search for 23-year-old kidnap victim Andrea Bharatt.

Loop News was told that hunters joined the police, who returned to forested areas in Sangre Grande, near Duranta Gardens and Fishing Pond in a fervent search for the Arima clerk.

Police sources said officers from the Special Operations Response Team, the Eastern Division, the Northern Division, the Homicide Bureau, and the Guard and Emergency Branch, all under the direct supervision of Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith, are said to be involved.

They were aided by a group of hunters who gathered this morning from as early as 6am to provide assistance to the lawmen.

Five persons are currently in police custody being questioned. All five, who are between the ages of 20 and 30, were detained on Sunday.
