Cops believe the actor who was found dead with his mom’s body in Chelsea lived with her decomposing corpse for several days before he also passed away — and that he used Febreze to mask the odor, law enforcement sources said Sunday.
William “Bill” Wedell — a small-time actor who appeared in movies such as “It Could Happen To You” with Nicholas Cage and Woody Allen’s “Crimes and Misdemeanors” — likely spent about five days living with his dead mother’s body inside their home at The Tate on West 23rd Street in Manhattan, police and sources said.
The bodies of Wedell, 64, and his 95-year-old mother, Agnes, were found Saturday afternoon during a wellness check.
Bottles of Febreze were found throughout the apartment, sources said.
