Haiti: Reporters Assaulted By Police And Protesters

During yet another protest to demand that President Jovenel Moïse leave office, police officers and protesters assaulted several journalists on Wednesday.

Police officers fired rubber bullets at Radio Télé Caraïbes reporter Réginald Rémy’s, injuring his left arm. Rémy’s press pass was visible at the time.

Protesters attacked Junior Peterson Jean from Télé Ginen and attempted to break his camera because they believe his media outlet supports Moïse. Source
