A security officer has been charged for wasteful employment of police time after providing false information on a larceny which occurred on Monday.
The security guard, Alvin Bharath, of Church Street, Kelly Village, has also been charged jointly with Adrian Patrick, of 8th Street West, Casselton Avenue, Trincity. A third suspect, Wayne Ramadar, of La Solita Road, Kelly Village, Caroni, was also charged with receiving stolen articles.
The trio is expected to appear before a Chaguanas Magistrate today to answer to the charges which arose out a report of larceny which occurred at 12:30am on Monday at the Indian Expo along Caroni Savannah Road, Charlieville, Chaguanas.
