District Commissioner (DC) Ricardo Bhola of Paramaribo-Northeast says that the case of the stolen SRD 500,000 has been shot. The research is at an advanced stage. “It won’t be too long before individuals are identified. I spoke with the police this morning and I have not heard that persons have been arrested ”, the mayor told Suriname Herald.
At the district commissioner of Paramaribo-Northeast, burglars stole SRD 500,000 from the safe. “I still know how, who, what and why money was stolen from the vault intended for the payment of the election personnel. I am also very curious about who, ”he notes.
The DC also indicates that a press silence will be built in in order not to hinder the investigation.
