A teen girl who claimed she was abducted off a Queens street on Monday night confessed to investigators that she concocted the elaborate tale, sources said.
The 14-year-old had initially reported that a man carrying a clipboard with her photo attached to it forced her into a black Honda sedan near 123rd Street and 20th Avenue in College Point at about 11 p.m., cops and police sources have said.
She had told authorities that the man drove her around for about 20 minutes before exiting his vehicle to make a call on 129th Street, police sources said.
There, the girl claimed she managed to escape from the car, fleeing on foot to a gas station in Whitestone where she flagged down a woman for help, according to authorities and sources.
