Haiti: Officials Distribute 165,000 Barrel Of Gas To Combat Shortage

In their fight against the ongoing gas shortage, officials announced that 165,000 barrels of gasoline started to get distributed at stations on Monday.

Motorcyclists and car drivers already lined up at gas stations in Port-au-Prince on Monday evening. Brawls have broken out in the past while residents were waiting for gas.

“We ask the [Haitian National Police] to help secure stations to protect the delivery operations,” the National Association of Petroleum Products Distributors (ANADIPP) posted on Twitter.
