Trinidad & Tobago: Cops to approach DPP on Moruga murder

The 22-year-old man held for the murder of Moruga gardener Keveon Julien has been placed on identification parades.

Investigators are now adding the finishing touches to their investigations, before approaching the Director of Public Prosecutions Roger Gaspard SC for instructions on how to proceed.

It is hoped that this could be done by this evening.

The suspect, a construction worker who lives at Simeon Road in Diego Martin, was held after Julien’s killing on Christmas night near his home in La Lune Village.

Julein was stabbed to death during an altercation with a group of men.
