Noting that there has been an increase in reports of point of sale (POS) machines being stolen from business operators in recent weeks, the police are warning the public to be mindful of fraudulent activities involving POS devices.
“Business operators and customers are asked to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to the police,” stated an advisory from the police’s Corporate Communications Unit on Tuesday.
