Police are seeking the public’s assistance to find a man who attempted to abduct a 25-year-old woman mere moments after the two were involved in a road traffic accident.
The victim told police that at about 7:45am on Friday she was driving her vehicle along Thompson Road, Palmiste when a brown Nissan B12 suddenly collided with her car.
The driver of the Nissan B12 then exited his car, but while the two were exchanging information, he pushed the victim inside of her vehicle and entered the woman’s car.
He then drove the vehicle a short distance away to Cashew Gardens.
The victim became afraid and jumped out of the moving vehicle, raised an alarm and was assisted by persons who notified the police and ambulance services.
The suspect eventually left the vehicle and ran away.
The victim was taken to the Chaguanas Health Facility to seek medical attention.
