The body of a man who went missing on Monday was found floating the in the Gulf of Paria yesterday.
He’s been identified as 32-year-old, Chris Durham.
According to police, around 11:45am they responded to a report of a body seen floating in the seawater off Peakes’ Trading Home Store in Cocorite.
Cops called in help from the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard who helped to retrieve the body which was about 50 metres from the shore.
The body was taken to the Forensic Science Centre for an autopsy to be done.
Residents later revealed that Durham was last seen on Monday afternoon, walking at the back of his home at Upper Dillion Street, Diego Martin where there is a ravine. A few hours later they went looking for him, but couldn’t find him.
