Entrepreneurs in Suriname should receive optimal support, says Minister Saskia Walden of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation (Min EZ). During an introductory visit by André van Ommeren, director of International Programs at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the ministry showed great interest in technical support in this area.
The RVO contributes to an economically stronger Netherlands and a sustainable society by implementing policy for enterprising Netherlands in the field of innovation, sustainability, agriculture and horticulture and international cooperation.
During a short presentation by the RVO director, it also became apparent that this government organization has extensive experience in a number of processes to achieve sustainable economic development, which can certainly work in an adapted form in Suriname. This government organization, which is a link between the ministries and the entrepreneurial Netherlands, is committed to ensuring that entrepreneurs in the Netherlands can achieve their maximum potential.
