Guyana: Couple’s burnt remains found after Eccles house fire

The charred remains of a couple were discovered last night following a fire at an Eccles, East Bank Demerara house.

The couple has been identified as Cindy Ann Moses 35, the proprietor of a stationary shop and Leeroy King 34, a barber and father of three, who recently moved into the house, located at 1139, Phase Two, Eccles, East Bank Demerara.

The motive behind their deaths was still to be determined by investigators up to late last night.

Relatives of the deceased couple were in disbelief at the scene. The couple, who previously resided at Diamond Housing Scheme, moved into the house approximately three days ago, relatives said.
