Trinidad & Tobago: Police to approach DPP on Princes Town couple in murder case

Police are hopeful that by tomorrow they will approach officials from the office of the director of Public Prosecutions for instructions on how to proceed against a Princes Town couple who have been detained for the murder of businessman Christopher Hosein.

The couple, a 23-year-old woman and 28-year-old man, were both detained on Wednesday – the same day that Hosein’s body was found in a dumpsite off the M1 Tasker Road, in Ste Madeleine.

Hosein’s body was found next to his Kia Sorento. His hands were bound with duct tape, and a length of rope was attached to his neck.

His body, as well as his vehicle, were also burnt.

A post mortem has since confirmed that he was alive when he was set on fire. It revealed that Hosein died as a result of smoke inhalation and asphyxiation.

  1. Can you believe Subash Panday is representing Baldeo when he and the panday family are ‘family’ to the poor victim’s family.

Shameful, and who’s interest is he representing?.
