Trinidad & Tobago: Duke warns PM: Stop attacking public servants

President of the Public Services Association (PSA) Watson Duke has taken Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley to task for statements suggesting public servants have not been performing their duties throughout the COVID-19 period.

In a Facebook live video, Duke described the Prime Minister’s comments at a media conference on Saturday as a slap in the face and a disrespect to all hard-working public servants.

The PSA head questioned where the Prime Minister had gotten his report indicating that employees in the public sector have had unexplained absences from work.
