Barbados: Bostic speaks on COVID-19 travel protocols

Minister of Health and Wellness, Lt. Col. Hon. Jeffrey Bostic’s response to an article published online, which inaccurately stated that travellers from medium-risk countries were being considered for quarantine.

“I understand that the article published has caused some of our prospective travellers unnecessary concern, and I want to assure them that the U.K., Canada and other medium-risk countries are not being considered for quarantine on arrival in Barbados.  The Ministry of Health and Wellness is working closely with the Barbados Tourism and Marketing Inc. (BTMI) on updating the country’s protocols for arriving passengers, and our priority continues to be the health and protection of the public.
