NFL clubs are beginning to roll out their plans on how many, if any, fans can be in attendance when/if the regular season gets underway. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy has said masks will be required at all games. Here’s what else we know so far:
Atlanta Falcons: The team will allow between 10,000 and 20,000 fans for home games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, with season ticket holders asked to rank their preference of which of the first four games they wish to attend in a survey sent out by the club. More might be permitted later in the season should COVID-19 numbers trend in a positive direction.
Baltimore Ravens: No more than 14,000 fans will be allowed to attend Ravens games this season if fans are permitted at all, the team announced July 8. That 14,000 figure would represent roughly 20% of M&T Bank Stadium’s normal capacity.
