The interim specialized prosecutor for the investigation and prosecution of electoral crimes, Gisela Cueto, opened her field work yesterday on a day of arduous inspection during the extraordinary municipal elections and assured that the complaints received from citizens in the media and monitoring Social networks will be cleaned and processed in the responsible prosecutors’ offices.
He said that they are ready to accompany the cases before the Superior Electoral Tribunal (TSE).
He said that they linked with the main prosecutors from all over the country and monitored the networks, radio and television. Along with the deputy attorney general, John Henry Reynoso, Cueto called on citizens to commit to the success of the elections.
He highlighted the fundamental work of the Procurator’s Office against electoral crimes by assisting, accompanying and guiding the other prosecutors. “We will accompany them, if appropriate, before the proceedings before the TSE.”
Cueto visited the Telesistema plant, channel 11 of the Corripio Group yesterday, accompanied by Reynoso, who recalled that Cueto instructed to work on the points that Citizen Participation raised at the meeting.
