Jovenel Moïse receives new Chilean ambassador accredited to Haiti

PHTK: the political agreement of the opposition, “one proposal among others”

76 billion gourdes in collected revenue, 131 billion spent for the 2018-2019 fiscal year

The Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), monetary policy note revealed a “significant counter-performance” of public finances.  Cumulative receipts from October 2018 to Sep, 30 2019 amounted to 76,159,530,000 billion gourdes as opposed to 79,620,640,000 billion gourdes in 2017-2018; which corresponds to a decrease of 4.3 percent.  They are thus below the budget revenue forecasted at 99,165,300,000 billion gourdes in the 2017-2018 budget.
