The radical opposition calls on the President’s “déchoukaj”
On Wednesday, the leaders of the radical opposition, including André Michel, faced with the President’s refusal to resign, openly and impunityously appealed to President Moïuse’s “decoukaj”. Me André Michel who calls for the overthrow of the Government, warns that the week of October 27 to November 2, 2019 will be particularly hard in Haiti.

Wednesday in an interview on RFI, President Jovenel Moïse answering a question from the Journalist Amélie Baron to know if he could agree to leave his post before the end of his term replied “I’m not attached to a mandate. I am hooked on reforms. I want to talk about constitutional reform, for example. I want to talk about the reform of the energy sector, the digitization of the public administration. Today, we are in an acute crisis, but we can take advantage of this crisis to make this crisis an opportunity. We need stability in the country and to find that stability, we have to attack the system.”
The Protestant Federation offers 6 days of prayers
On the sidelines of the celebration of the 502nd anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, the Protestant Federation of Haiti, facing the crisis in the country, invites the faithful to implore God for Haiti from Thursday 24 to Saturday 26 October and Thursday 31 to Saturday, October 2.
