The mother of a 22-month-old New Jersey boy whose decomposing body was discovered last October has been arrested for his murder on Wednesday.
A grand jury also indicted Tynaizha Brown on counts of aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.
Jah’vi’s remains were discovered Oct. 11, 2018, in a dirty alley located near his father’s Camden home, said authorities.
But the boy’s dad, Anthony Burnett, told cops that his son had been in Brown’s care and that he hadn’t seen him in months, reported NJ.com.
Brown, 24, told police that Jah’vi had been with Burnett since August 2018 and that she had been attempting to procure visitation rights.
