Sen. Bernie Sanders and rapper Cardi B are hoping to make election magic with a joint video designed to entice young voters to take part in the 2020 election.
“We (are) working on a way to involve more young people in the political process,” Sanders told CNN on Monday. “The future of America depends on young people. They are voting in large numbers, but not large enough numbers.”
The Vermont senator and the musician filmed at the TEN Nail Bar, a nail salon owned by two black women, CNN reported. They apparently see eye to eye on canceling student debt, addressing climate change and increasing the minimum wage.
