A woman was knifed to death in a Brooklyn home Monday night, and cops were seeking a man seen walking away from the bloody scene, police sources said.
Just before 10 p.m., the victim, in her 40s, staggered down the front steps of a two-family home on 46th St. by 8th Ave. in Sunset Park and collapsed on the sidewalk, sources said.
Medics took her to Maimonides Hospital, but she couldn’t be saved. The woman’s identity has not been released.
“The woman was lying on the floor. She wasn’t moving,” said a witness, who didn’t give his name. “A man in a light blue T-shirt walked away. I couldn’t see his face.”
