Dominican Republic: Mayors of DR and Haiti today agree to community development

Today the mayors of the Dominican Republic and Haiti will sign an institutional collaboration agreement where, in the presence of ambassadors of different nations, the project “Support for territorial governance for the development of sustainable cities and communities in the Dominican Republic” will be presented.

Yesterday, yesterday, the meeting began between the Dominican Federation of Municipalities (Fedomu) and the National Federation of Mayors of Haiti (Fenamh), who will participate in the project of sustainable cities and communities sponsored by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (Aecid).

At the meeting held at the facilities of Fedomu, its president, Rafael Hidalgo, welcomed the Haitian delegation, led by the mayor of Carrefour and president of the Fenamh, Jude Edoard Pierre.
