SEE IT: Alabama Passes Chemical Castration Bill for Child Predators

Alabama lawmakers passed a bill that would allow child sexual predators to be “chemically castrated” before they leave prison.

The bill would require sex offenders convicted of abusing a child under 13 to take medication that would block the production of testosterone and hormones as a condition of parole. The sex offender will pay for the medication, which will start a month before they’re released from prison and will continue until a judge decides it’s not necessary. If refused, they’ll be sent back to prison for violating parole.
