Dominican Republic: Plenary PLD approves unanimously adapt statutes to the Law of Parties

The General Plenary of the Extraordinary Congress held this Thursday by the Dominican Liberation Party (PD) unanimously approved the adaptation of the statutes of that organization to Law No. 33-18 of Parties, Movements and Political Groups.

The event was held in the Volleyball Pavilion of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, with the attendance of 70% of the delegates and with the assistance of five technicians from the Central Electoral Board (JCE).

“The vote was enthusiastic and the approval was unanimous. We are already in agreement with Law 33-18 and what remains is to develop an arduous job to obtain a decisive victory in the elections of February and May next year, “said Lidio Cadet, coordinator of the National Electoral Commission of the PLD, in presence of his fellow commissioners   A lejandrina Germán, Rubén Bichara, Danilo  Díaz, Cesar  Prieto ,    Robert de la Cruz, Lupe Núñez, Armando García and Henry Meran.
