NYC: 80s redux-Gangbangers convicted of murdering two innocent moms in random Brooklyn shooting

Two gang members who cut down two young mothers as they tried to shoot a rival in a Brooklyn housing complex were convicted of murder Monday.

Nazir (Stinky) Saunders, 22, and Anthony Alexander, 19, were found guilty in Brooklyn Supreme Court of murder and weapon possession in the July 12, 2017 bloodbath at the Stuyvesant Gardens Houses in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Saunders and Alexander fired 10 bullets into a crowd of about 20 people hanging out in the housing complex courtyard.

They missed the rival gang member they were trying to shoot — but their bullets ripped into Chyna Battle, a 21-year-old mother of a 3-year-old girl, and Shaqwanda Staley, 29, who had a 9-year-old daughter. Both moms died.

The bloodthirsty killers fled to Rock Hill, S.C. — more than 660 miles away from the crime scene. Police caught them that about four months later.
