An argument over sandwiches inside a Brooklyn deli early Sunday exploded into a bloody brawl and stabbing that left one man critically wounded, police said
Surveillance video exclusively obtained by the Daily News shows the crazed melee inside Blessed Mini Mart on Fulton St. near Tompkins Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 4:40 a.m.
Two men began arguing near the checkout as several others begin to surround them, the video shows.
“They were all in here buying sandwiches,” said store owner Mike Naji, 23. “They’re all customers here.”
“The guy said, ‘Make my sandwich first,’” said deli clerk Majdi Hussain, 18, referring to one of the men who was wounded. “Another guy said, ‘Let him go, he’s busy.’ He says, ‘Why you talk to me like that? I’m going to let him make my sandwich first, I don’t care about nobody.’”
At one point, several bystanders tried to break up the fight. A taller man made a motion with his hand to show that the argument is over, the surveillance video shows.
