NYC: Two teens stab young man to death outside Upper West Side pizzeria: cops

Two teens stabbed a young man to death on the Upper West Side on Thursday afternoon, leaving him bleeding and unable to open the door of a nearby pizzeria to seek help, cops said.

The duo — boys ages 17 and 18 — knifed their victim about 1:30 p.m. in front of Cheesy Pizza on Broadway and W. 100th St.

“He tried to enter, but he didn’t enter. He fell down before he could get in,” said a worker at the pizzeria, who didn’t give her name. “We didn’t know that he was stabbed. We were busy with a customer. We didn’t see anything.”

The victim, described as a male in his late teens or early 20s, died at St. Luke’s Hospital. His name has not yet been released.

Cops found a knife at the scene.

Officers arrested both suspects later near the corner of Amsterdam Ave. and W. 96th St. Charges against them are pending.
