A father of three was shot to death outside a Bronx housing project early Sunday, cops said.
Nelson Ramos, 29, was blasted multiple times in the chest in front of the Monroe Houses on Soundview Ave. near Lafayette Ave. in Soundview around 3:50 a.m., authorities said.
Medics took Ramos, who lived in the Monroe Houses, to Jacobi Medical Center but he could not be saved.
“He was with my son playing video games, drinking a little, having fun. I gave him a hug and said, ‘Watch yourself.’ That was the last time I saw him,” said Nelson Rivera, 51. “This just breaks my heart.”
Ramos was released from prison in 2015 after serving two years upstate for narcotics possession and attempted weapon possession, public records show.
