Dominican Republic: They impose 30 thousand pesos of bail on six Chinese for allegedly selling counterfeit items in the Romana

A court in this jurisdiction is aware of coercion measures against several Chinese nationals who are accused of selling counterfeit goods in stores in the city to the detriment of recognized brands.

From a total of six Chinese nationals to five they were imposed a bail of 30 thousand pesos to be able to receive their freedom while one of them was released because he is new in one of the establishments that operate in this city.

They also imposed impediments to them leaving the country while they have pending the case in court.

The acting judge was Dania Beras, who received the statement of information from the Public Ministry, detailing that these Chinese nationals are engaged in selling counterfeit goods that affect producers of recognized brands.
