Ten years in prison for former president El Salvador due to money eclipse

Former president of El Salvador, Elías Antonio Saca González, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in his country. According to the news site La Page, the judge found him guilty of misappropriating government money. His possessions had already been seized before.

Saca, which was in power in the period 2004-2009, would have appropriated some $ 300 million. The court found it proved that he had transferred that amount from the presidential account to his private accounts. Six confidants must also go into the cell for a long time because of complicity.

one  of them should be just as Saca ten years in prison, five others received a sentence of five years. The now 53-year-old Saca was entrepreneur and journalist before and after his presidency. He led two governments during his political career
