A 34-year-old dad was shot to death during an argument outside a Bronx elementary school, cops said Tuesday.
Christopher Pierce, the father of a little girl, got into a quarrel with his killer in front of the Luisa Pineiro Fuentes School of Science and Discovery on Eames Place near Webb Ave. in Kingsbridge about 9:20 p.m. Monday, police said.
The gunman shot Pierce in the chest and ran off. Medics rushed Pierce, who lived around the corner from where he was shot, to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died.
“They (the police) said somebody with a gray sweater came by and shot him, then fled the scene,” said Pierce’s cousin Cynthia Rosario, 27.
A friend of the dead man, who did not want to give his name, said “He got hit through the shoulder and the bullet exploded and pierced his major organs.”
Cops were still hunting for the gunman Tuesday.
Family and friends gathered at the corner of Webb Ave and Eames Place in front of a few candles that had been placed there in Pierce’s memory.
